Benedikt Matthias Reimann was born in Augsburg in 1985. His connection to classical music dates back to his school years at the renowned music-focused Gymnasium bei St. Stephan, where concert pianist and piano educator Michael Hubert-Gallée had a formative influence on his musical development. He sang in the school choir under Benedictine leadership and performed as a song accompanist during his school years.

Reimann studied business administration in Bayreuth and Berlin. While still a student, he began combining his business education with practical experience in the music and events sector. He gained his first experience in cultural management through work at festivals, organizing his own concerts, and serving as a co-producer. He also remained active in choral singing during his studies. As part of his degree, with a focus on accounting, taxation, and business law, he also examined legal and accounting issues relating to the music industry. This work led to his book "The 360-Degree Model in the Music Industry".

After completing his studies, Reimann initially pursued a career in the corporate sector. Following a position at a major audit firm, he held various management positions in sales, particularly within the IT industry. There, he gained extensive experience in account management, sales, and business development, working with clients across a wide range of industries and company sizes - from medium-sized businesses to multinational corporations.

Reimann was a member of the Augsburg choir Vox Augustana and also served as the association’s president. From 2017 to 2019, he organized the concert series “Augsburg Concerts” as a local concert organizer. In 2018, he served as managing partner and director of the MúsicaMallorca festival.

Since 2018, Reimann has focused his work under BMR Artist & Project Management on the development and placement of guest performance concerts, as well as on artist management and artist placement. In addition, he advises and supports selected concert and corporate projects upon request.

His work is characterized by a deep understanding of classical music and the artists’ perspective, combined with many years of entrepreneurial experience. Reimann brings these two perspectives together in his work with artists, organizers, and international partners, with the aim of building long-term relationships and supporting projects with both professionalism and a personal approach.
