Since 2018, the danish festival “Soundcape” by Møn Sommerkoncert, has been presenting concerts with a highly intimate formate where music is visualised through dance so close to the audience that one can almost directly touch the art.
The festival has, besides presenting excerpts from famous ballets, classic as well as modern, commissioned a selection of all-new choreographies from international established choreographers, such as Eric Gauthier and Eric Chu amongst others.
In close collaboration with “Ballet Sauvage” by Verdensballetten, one of Scandinavias leading galla’s, “Soundcape” has had the privilege to feature some of the greatest dancers in the world of ballet, such as Marian Walther, Iana Salenko, Xander Parish, Alban Lendorf, Ida Praetorius and Astrid Elbo to name a few.
“Soundscape” is under artistic direction by Niklas Walentin, and his wife, flautist Alena Walentin.
